Genealogy Trivia Game with Robert Allen will be a fun way to start the holidays with the British Interest Group of Wisconsin & Illinois. Here's a chance to find out how much you and others know about the world of genealogy. We'll look at DNA, Resources, Databases, Internet sites, Terms, Organizations and Special Secrets about the hobby we all love so much.
This meeting will be held on Zoom only. Further instructions to the Zoom link will be emailed and available on BIGWILL.org a few days before the meeting.
Robert Allen received a B.A. in Political Science and an M.B.A. from the University of Kansas. He then graduated from the University of Texas Law School in Austin, Texas. Bob lives in Barrington with his wife, Audrey. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.
The British Interest Group of Wisconsin & Illinois (BIGWILL), a genealogical special interest group for those who wish to research family history and ancestry in the British Isles, meets on the third Saturday of January, March, May, July, September and November.

Harriet Tubman was an American "shero." She was an abolitionist, humanitarian, and during the American Civil War, a Union spy. She is best known as a conductor for the Underground Railroad. This railroad had numerous stops in Illinois.
Speaker: Cynthia Maddox, a Chicago actress, director, vocalist, playwright and producer has portrayed the lives of a wide range of African American heroines. For 30 years, she has been touring her one woman show, "A Bit of History," about the life of Harriet Tubman.
