Upcoming Virtual events from our Member Societies!

Are you looking for an opportunity to learn more about working with DNA results? Our friends at CAGGNI will be hosting a virtual DNA Special Interest Group on Saturday, August 8th, 12:45-3pm, facilitated by Suze Bates! The group will focus on learning the methods for analyzing DNA test results, studying topics such as autosomal DNA, mitochondrial DNA, Y-DNA, X-DNA, and more. You will also learn about how third-party tools can help you analyze your raw DNA data. The group will combine 15-20 minute lectures with interactive workshop-style activities! ISGS ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING FOR 2020 The Annual Membership Meeting this year will be VIRTUAL, along with our 2020 Fall Conference. This will include a VIRTUAL membership vote for new Officers and Board Members.  ISGS MEMBERS- Please make sure your email is up to date so that we can be sure to send you the Membership Meeting information, once finalized. Exciting ISGS Announcement: A NEW Virtual Writer's Group!

REGISTRATION IS NOW FULL! PLEASE WATCH THE ISGS WEBSITE FOR FURTHER UPDATES! Ask Away – Write Away! Join us for a NEW Virtual Program Have you tried to write your family history? Stuck? Join this new, virtual ISGS group and let’s talk about how to get it done!  This will be a small group to allow you to ask questions and gather ideas to help in the writing process. There will be two groups: a morning and an evening group. Each session will focus on one or two questions, such as: What inspires you to write? Where or why are you stuck? Do you have a favorite resource? ISGS volunteers will be on hand to help moderate the sessions and to share their own writing experiences! Registration is limited.
