St. Clair County Genealogical Society announces NEW Catholic Church Records available to the public on their website! Baptisms, marriages and burials for 8 small Catholic parishes in St. Clair County have been added. CLICK HERE to view the church records on the SCCGS website!

For SCCGS members, new content has been added to the member section of their website, including a birth certificate index for the years 1890-1899, death certificate index books covering 1907-1913, and updates to their Quarterly archive and newsletter pages.

The Genealogy Society of Southern Illinois' Library is back OPEN! The Library is located inside the John A. Logan College Library and summer hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30pm.

The Polish Genealogical Society of America will host a presentation on Sunday August 15th, featuring Laimonas Gryva.
